How to choose fixed-length security seals
Fixed-length security seals close at a defined locking position rather than tightening continuously. Depending on the model, the structure may be a flat strap, tag-style insert lock, fixed loop or another confirmed engagement design. Product images and instructions must show the real locking path; a fixed-length seal should not be presented as a pull-tight product.
Measure the closure opening and check whether the completed loop and locking body have enough clearance. Compare total length, usable loop geometry, strap width or cable diameter, flag size and removal method. The right format also depends on how staff will apply, inspect and record the seal. Where a fixed visual loop is important, request a sample and test it on the actual closure before a bulk order.
Customization can include serial numbers, logos or barcodes when the selected material and marking area support them. Marking methods and final contrast require sample approval. Send a closure photo or drawing, dimensions, quantity, destination, preferred color and identification requirements. MOQ, packaging and lead time vary by model and artwork. Any claimed test result or classification must be supported by documentation for the exact fixed-length product.
