How to choose a plastic seal length

Measure the path the seal must travel through the closure, including any loop you need to leave for inspection. Ask for both total length and effective working length. The printed flag and locking head may form part of the total length but are not all available for the loop.

Check that the strap passes through the smallest hole. Consider how the seal will be removed and whether workers need a tool. Confirm these details on a dimension drawing and a sample before placing a bulk order.
