How it locks
The cable end is pushed into the head and gripped by the internal lock; the loop length is set when you close it and cannot be loosened or reopened without cutting the cable.
Not suitable when
- the closure holes are smaller than about 2 mm – the 1.8 mm cable must pass freely;
- you need to shorten the loop after locking – use the pull-tight MC-K2 instead;
- the shipment requires a documented barrier or bolt-seal classification – ask for model-specific test evidence first.

Typical fits are swing-door handles, roll-up truck doors, cargo hatches and valve handles where the two closure points are not perfectly aligned.
