Start with the model name and dimension drawing. Verify that the supplied report identifies the exact product being considered. Check the issuing organization, report date, test scope and the classification stated in the document.
An enterprise quality-system certificate is different from a product test report. A report for one model does not automatically cover other models or product categories.
Confirm the requirements with the party responsible for your shipment or application. Ask for a sample and the applicable documents before approving a bulk purchase. This checklist supports procurement review and does not establish customs acceptance.
