MC-CF overview

MC-CF is a single-use, pull-through cable seal with an aluminum body and no plastic parts. Choose a 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 or 2.5 mm (0.04–0.10 in) aeronautic steel wire rope; the cable length is made to order. How it locks
The cable and the locking mechanism grip and press the cable at the same time as it is pulled through, so the loop shortens one way only.

- you need colored printing on the body – the aluminum body takes white laser marking only;
- you need a published break-strength value – the catalogue does not state one for MC-CF;
- the closure needs a cable thicker than 2.5 mm – see MC-CFB (3.0–5.0 mm).

Where to use MC-CF
Catalogue-listed uses: ISO containers, trucks, bank and logistics doors. Thin 1.0–1.5 mm cables suit cash bags, cabinets, meters and small hasps; 2.0–2.5 mm cables suit truck doors and container handles. Choose the diameter by the smallest closure hole. 1. Pass the cable through the closure points. 2. Feed the free end through the aluminum body in the marked direction. 3. Pull until the loop is as tight as required. 4. Check that the cable cannot be pulled back and record the identifier. 5. Remove with a cable cutter. Single-use.
